Paul Guillaumon (38) has been working in the games industry for more than 14 years. He had last operated as a Producer at dtp entertainment. Before his engagement with dtp entertainment, he had worked for a number of renowned studios such as Software 2000 and Ascaron Entertainment as well as the mobile specialists of Handy Games, for whom he build up and managed the QA department from the start. All in all, Guillaumon has worked on more than 70 titles in various capacities, such as game designer, project manager, developer and QA manager. Thomas Bark (Lead Tester)

Today, Fishlabs announces Galaxy on Fire 2™ – Supernova for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Supernova™ is the second add-on for the highly successful sci-fi saga featuring the dare-devil space adventurer and mercenary Keith T. Fishlabs announces today that an HD-version of Galaxy on Fire 2™ – Valkyrie for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 will be released in the first quarter of 2012. And approximately four weeks later, the Full HD version of the add-on will enable all Mac pilots to experience the new storyline and missions in stunning Full HD visuals as well. So far, the first add-on for the successful sci-fi saga has only been available in SD for the Xperia PLAY smartphone by Sony Ericsson as well as iOS devices.

Maren Nötzelmann (Producer)

Since the successful ad games, which Fishlabs develops for blue chip clients such as Volkswagen or Barcleycard, have become more and more complex and ambitious over the years, the company hired Maren Nötzelmann as their new ad game producer. Before her engagement with Fishlabs, Nötzelmann (28) had been working as a localization manager at dtp entertainment for four years. In that position, the graduate media technologist supervised more than 50 titles from the early stages of development to the final release in various languages. For several of these games, she also took over the project management.

Jannes Gneist (Web Developer)

The qualified IT specialist Jannes Gneist will from now on be in charge of Fishlabs’ web presence and prepare the Hamburg-based company for the upcoming online rush, which is to be expected due to the implementation of multiplayer gameplay and social features in future Fishlabs releases. Before he joined Fishlabs, Gneist (23) had been working for a number of different companies as a web developer and administrator.

Fishlabs Entertainment sends its two-time winner of the prestigious International Mobile Gaming Awards 2011 down the slope again: Right in time for the winter season, the successful Hamburg-based games developer puts out an extensive update for its action-packed fun sports spectacle Snowboard Hero™, which originally hit the App Store in late March 2011. While the game has already received a whole lot of new content in the form of additional characters, tracks, events and achievements in the past, the current update finally upgrades the award-winning winter sports racer to a universal app for iPhone, iPod touch and now also iPad for the single price of €2.39 / $2.99/ £1.99. Furthermore, the graphics of the game have also been improved specifically for iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

In Snowboard Hero™ you take over the role of one of six playable characters, each of which is equipped with a number of individual boards, outfits, skills and special moves, and take on an extensive career consisting of 66 different challenges on eight unique tracks. Race down the steepest scarps and most beautiful alpine areas and prove your skills and courage on all kinds of risky obstacles, such as half pipes, glacier tunnels and ski jumps. Take advantage of the game’s intuitive touch and tilt controls and master even the most dare-devil stunts and breakneck tricks at ease, while you collect extra-bonuses for your best maneuvers and record times. Leave your friends in the dust and show them who the real Snowboard Hero™ is by mastering the Record Chaser mode and dominating the online leader boards via OpenFeint and Game Center. And, of course, improve your character’s abilities by investing your hard-earned credits into better boards, new tricks and cool gadgets!

Due to the title’s high-resolution graphics and full support of AppleTV AirPlay, the pursuit of the next high score looks all the more impressive on the big screen in 720p via Wi-Fi or in Full HD via HDMI. She will function as the interface between the booming Asian markets and the red-hot Hamburg-based venture. 25-year-old Tang, who’s graduated as a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, boasts international experience not least thanks to work-related assignments in the USA and an exchange semester at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. Following a brief career in Hong Kong’s hyper-competitive real estate business, she found her way to Germany via a one year Working Holiday Program. In addition to her native Cantonese and fluent Mandarin skills Tang also speaks English, Spanish and German.

‘The Asian markets are of every-increasing importance to us. As early as back in the days when we developed Java games, the lion share of downloads already came from China except we weren’t able to profit at all from that fact. However, what we were able to do since then was build a fan base that will be a crucial factor to the success of our upcoming Free-to-Play games for iOS, Android and Symbian^3 – even above and beyond the Chinese market.
