Epic Sci-Fi Simulation Galaxy on Fire 2 THD Now Available for Tegra-powered Android Super Phones and Tablets

Heavily Enhanced Version of Critically Acclaimed and Multi Award-Winning Outer Space Epos Available on the Android Market and Tegra Zone

After more than half a year of extra development time, Fishlabs, one of the world’s leading developers of premium 3D mobile games, proudly released Galaxy on Fire 2™ THD on NVIDIA® Tegra™ -powered Android mobile devices. The epic sci-fi action trader is available free to download from the Tegra Zone app on the Android Market and can be played for unlimited time offering full functionality within the first solar system. To access the whole galaxy with over 20 solar systems and to complete the six to ten hours, fully voice acted storyline, players have to unlock the game via in-app purchase for $ 14.99 / € 11,99 / £ 8.99.

Galaxy on Fire 2™ THD has been heavily optimized to utilize the eight-core rendering power of Tegra’s GeForce GPU, bringing console-gaming quality to mobile devices. All meshes have been re-created from scratch as if they were to be used for a proper console game and new details have been added to the design of each of the over 30 spaceships and 100 space stations. Also the space background images as well as all planets have been carefully re-painted at 2048 x 2048 pixels resolution. Compared to the iPad version, the game now features four times higher texture sizes on all in-game textures and four times higher polygon count on its spaceships, space stations, jump gates and asteroids. Furthermore, Galaxy on Fire 2™ THD features sophisticated OpenGL ES 2.0 specular and displacement shaders on all in-game assets.

GTI Edition 35 now on the App Store

For the world premiere of the Golf GTI Edition 35, Volkswagen once again rely on the renowned studio for smartphone games Fishlabs Entertainment and give the GTI cult their own 3D racing game.

Volkswagen are publishing their latest game for the 35th anniversary of the Golf GTI and just in time for the world’s biggest GTI festival at Wörthersee this coming weekend. Developed by Fishlabs Entertainment, GTI Edition 35 for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad is now available for free on the App Store.

When the first model of the Golf GTI was presented at the Hockenheimring in the early summer of 1976, no one suspected that the fastest Volkswagen to that point, with its sporty design and 110 HP under the hood, would make automobile history. 35 years later, the GTI cult can also be experienced on smartphones in the game GTI Edition 35.

Players can experience the unique, vigorous character of the GTI editions at full throttle in a fully animated 3D cockpit view on photorealistic courses, mostly leading through cordoned off industrial areas. From the first Golf up to the Golf GTI Edition 35, the entire series of the cult car is present. In addition, a virtual 3D showroom with detailed vehicle data and exclusive Golf GTI Edition 35 features is devoted to the anniversary model. In both career mode and time trials, great importance is placed on authenticity. Original paintwork, realistic acoustics, and genuine vehicle data will make the hearts of more than just GTI fans beat a little faster.
